It has been some time since our last post and many things have changed.

Vermilion County Search and Rescue is still alive and well.

and I have currently taken over as the EMA Director.

This spring we will be having Basic Search and Rescue classes starting up so keep checking back for the dates and times.

If you have ideas for the Search and Rescue team please let Ed Miller or Ted Fisher know, WE NEED YOUR INPUT!

Our Quarterly SAR training (02/21/03 - 02/23/03) was a big success We had Search dog teams from Indiana assist us in our training, and wish to thank them for all of their hard work and long travel to get hear. Thanks to all that attended and I hope you enjoyed the weekend, even though is was wet and cold. And a big Thanks to Ed Miller for putting this three days together for us.
